Viewing inspections in the Roadway InfoViewer

You can use the Roadway InfoViewer to show inspections performed on a part of a roadway, such as pavement surface condition inspections or roughness inspections.

  1. Load the roadway you want into the Roadway InfoViewer.
  2. Click Settings Settings button .
    The Roadway InfoViewer Preferences dialog box is displayed.
  3. On the Features tab, ensure that Inspections is selected in the Feature Groups grid.
  4. On the Inspections tab, enter your selection criteria for the inspections that you want to show.
    If you don't enter any criteria, Infor Operations and Regulations will show all inspections for the roadway. If you only want to show inspections of certain types, select the Limited by Inspection Type check box and select the inspection types that you want to show. You can specify a range of completion dates in the From and To fields to show only inspections that were completed within that range. You can also choose to show only complete or only incomplete inspections.
    You also have the option of showing inspections for the assets that are attached to the roadway, or showing inspection schedules for the roadway or attached assets.
    You can also use the Inspections tab to add inspection types to the feature list for the purpose of creating new inspections. In that case, rather than entering any other search criteria, select the Limited by Inspection Type check box and select the inspection types that you want to show.
  5. Click Save.
    Infor Operations and Regulations adds the inspection types you selected to the feature list in the lower-left corner of the viewer. If an inspection was found for any part of the roadway, a bar or point symbol is displayed to the right of the inspection type, showing the inspection's scheduled or completed date. You can now create inspections of these types as required.
