Defining an enumeration collection

Enumeration collections are groups of enumerations that are related in some way, such as an SQL Types collection that contains enumerations for each SQL type that Infor Operations and Regulations uses. Infor Operations and Regulations comes with many enumeration collections that it uses for the various products that your agency has purchased. You can add new enumeration collections for your own enumerations as required.

  1. Select System > Agency Personalization > Schema Manager.
  2. Click the Enumerations node below the Infor Product Families tree.
  3. In the Enumeration Collections tree on the right, right-click the Enumeration Collections root node and select Create Enumeration Collection.
  4. In the Name field, type a name for the enumeration collection.
  5. In the Common ID field, type an identification code for the enumeration collection.
You will use the common ID throughout Infor Operations and Regulations to identify this enumeration collection. Although the common ID is not required to be unique, making it unique will help you identify it later.
  6. Type a description of the collection in the Description field.
  7. Click Save.
Infor Operations and Regulations closes the dialog box and shows the new enumeration collection in the Enumeration Collections tree. You can now define enumeration values for this collection.
