These domains can be added to personalized table definitions. Using a domain instead of defining the same column in several tables reduces the amount of setup required and ensures that the column is always formatted in the same way.

A domain is a template for a standard column in your Infor Operations and Regulations database. Infor Operations and Regulations comes with several predefined domains, including ADDBY (added by), ADDDTTM (added date and time), MODBY (modified by), and MODDTTM (modified date and time). Using a domain instead of redefining the same column in several tables ensures that the columns are all formatted in the same way, which reduces data errors.
