Automapping

You can automatically map fields that have the same names in both databases. After you select an Infor Operations and Regulations component and a GIS layer, click the Automap button between the IPS Fields tree and the GIS Fields tree. Infor Operations and Regulations searches for GIS fields whose names match either the name or the common ID of Infor Operations and Regulations fields. The results are displayed in the Auto Map Sync Fields dialog box.

To automap fields, select the check box for each field that you want to map and click Save. The sync direction for the mappings is IPS << >> GIS, unless one of the fields is read-only.
