Create records

There are two ways to create records in Operations and Regulations, such as addresses or assets, by using the map in GeoAdministrator.

If the GIS features for the records that you want to create already exist on the map, you can select the existing features and create linked records in Operations and Regulations. To create records for existing map features, use the Create O&R Inventory Records button on the GeoAdministrator tab.

If the features do not exist already, you can create the map features and the linked O&R records at the same time. Use the Create Features pane, which is shown when you click Create on the Edit tab in ArcGIS Pro.

GeoAdministrator adds a Create button to each layer in the Create Features pane that corresponds to a type of record in Operations and Regulations. For example, the Create O&R Address button is shown when you select an address layer.
