Deleting a penalty code

Note: You can't delete a penalty code that is currently associated with a bill type or line item type. You must first remove the penalty code from any associated bill and line item types.
  1. Select Billing > Setup > Delinquency > Penalty Table.
  2. In the Penalty Table Setup tree, locate the penalty code that you want to delete.
  3. Delete all penalty tables associated with the penalty code.

  4. Right-click the "Penalty Code" node and select Remove Penalty Code.
    A dialog box is displayed asking if you want to delete the code.

    Infor Operations and Regulations deletes the penalty code from your records and removes it from the Penalty Code Setup tree. If the penalty code is specified in a bill type or line item type, a message is displayed telling you that the penalty code can’t be deleted. To delete the penalty code, you must first delete the code from any associated bill and line item types.
