Reordering records in a grid

In some grids, the order of the records can be changed by moving rows up and down. If a grid allows reordering, you will see the Reorder Rows button in the second column of each row.

To move a row, click and hold the Reorder Rows button, then move the row up or down to the desired location. To move multiple rows, select the check box for each row to move.

After a row has been moved, a yellow diamond is displayed in the first column of each row whose order has changed. The new order is not permanent until you save your changes. To save your changes, click the Approve button at the top of the grid.
