Linking asset valuations

You can use either Add Asset Valuation or the Asset Valuation InfoViewer to link a valuation to one or more other valuations. For example, the valuations might be for associated assets, such as a vehicle and an equipment unit. You can view information on an asset valuation's linked valuations on the Related Records and Financial Summary tabs of the InfoViewer.
  1. Begin to add an asset valuation; or open an existing valuation in the InfoViewer and select the Related Records tab.
  2. Click Add above the Linked Asset Valuations grid.
  3. Specify this information:
    Valuation #
    Specify the identification number of the valuation you're linking to.
    Capacity
    Specify a code to indicate how the valuations are related.
    From Date and To Date
    Specify the time period when the valuations were linked.
  4. Click Save.
