Attaching an attribute to a linear asset

  1. Load the correct linear asset in the InfoViewer.
  2. In the feature list, right-click to the right of the icon for the correct attribute type and select Add new item of this type.
  3. Specify this information:
    Value
    Specify the value of the attribute.
    Measured From
    Select the end of the linear asset from which the position of the attribute is measured.
    Start Distance
    Specify the distance of the start of the attribute from the end of the linear asset that you selected in the Measured From list.
    End Distance
    For range attributes, specify the distance of the end of the attribute from the end of the linear asset.
    Effective Date
    Specify the date from which the attribute is effective.
    Schematic Icon
    If you want to show an icon for this attribute in the schematic, select the icon that you want to use.
  4. Click Save.
