Defining a linear asset type

  1. Select Asset Management > Assets > [asset module].
  2. On the tab for the correct linear asset type, under Configuration, click "Asset" Setup.
  3. In the Linear Types tree, right-click the "Asset" Type node and select Create "Asset" Type.
  4. Specify this information:
    Linear Code
    Enter an identification code for the asset type.
    Description
    Enter a description of the asset type.
  5. Click Save.
