Adding a safety message to an asset inspection type

You can use safety messages to alert your employees about additional safety measures and equipment that may be required or hazardous conditions they may encounter. For example, you may want to instruct an employee to wear goggles and gloves when performing an inspection. You can view safety messages associated with an inspection on the Safety Messages tab of the Inspection InfoViewer.
  1. Select Asset Management > Assets > [Asset Module].
  2. On the correct asset type tab, under Configuration, click Inspection Types.
  3. In the Inspection Types tree, browse to the Safety Messages node for the correct inspection type.
  4. Click Add above the Safety Messages grid.
  5. Specify this information:
    Safety Code
    Specify the identification code for the safety message.
    Expire Date
    Specify an expiration date for the safety message.
    Comments
    Specify the information that is displayed as the safety message.
  6. Click Save.
