Creating a CoF multiplier

  1. Select Asset Management > Advanced Asset Management > Risk Management.
  2. Click Create Consequence of Failure Multiplier.
  3. Specify this information:
    Name
    Specify a name for the multiplier.
    Failure Definition
    Specify the failure code that the multiplier applies to.
    CoF Multiplier Type
    Select the method that will be used to set the value of the multiplier.

    You can select Formula or Value. Formula means that you will use a formula to calculate the multiplier. Value means that you will specify a single value to be used for all assets.

    CoF Multiplier Formula
    If you selected Formula in the CoF Multiplier Type list, specify the formula here.
    Manually Entered Multiplier Value
    If you selected Value in the CoF Multiplier Type list, specify the value of the multiplier here.
    Asset Groups
    Specify each asset group that will use the multiplier in the grid.
  4. Click Save.
