Feature toggles
Use feature toggles to enable new features for your Infor Operations and Regulations site.
Feature toggles are provided to give agencies time to prepare for a new feature's activation, such as updating detail pages or revising agency training materials. The available feature toggles are shown in the
form (SFT).The current state of each toggle is shown in the Toggle State column in the grid on the form. It can be one of these values:
- On: The feature is on for all users.
Note: Some features can be turned on and off, but others cannot be turned off after they are enabled.
- Off: The feature is off for all users.
- User Opt-in: Some feature toggles allow user opt-in. The feature toggle is turned on, but individual users can opt to turn it on or off for themselves in their My Infor preferences.
- Requires Key: For some features, there is an early adopter period. The feature is available but an access key is required to turn on the feature toggle. Keys are available only to customers who have joined the early adopter program.
The
form also indicates when the feature will be on by default, and when it will be mandatory. See these columns in the grid:- On By Default: Starting with this release, the system will turn on the feature automatically, but the agency still has the option to turn it off. This is typically set to the feature release six months after the release of the toggled feature.
- Mandatory: Starting with this release, the feature is mandatory for all users. The agency cannot turn it off, and individual users cannot opt out. This is typically set to the feature release 12 months after the release of the toggled feature.
