Streaming Ingestion

If this feature is enabled, the Publish Data Bundles task uses streaming ingestion instead of ION to publish data to the Data Lake. Streaming ingestion is part of the Data Fabric application that enables data ingestion directly into the Data Lake without requiring an ION data flow.

Streaming ingestion provides the ability to publish data to other destination databases and data warehouses such as Amazon’s Aurora, RDS and Redshift, and Azure’s PostgreSQL and SQL databases. If publishing to Data Lake is not yet configured for your site, we recommend that you enable this feature rather than configuring ION.
