-
Load the service contract you want into the Service Contract InfoViewer.

-
On the Rates tab, browse to the node in which you want to add a contractor rate.

To add a new contractor and define the rates that contractor charges, use the root node. To define service rates for a contractor already listed in the contract, select the appropriate node. To define rates for a service line item already listed in the contract, select a node, a node, or a node.

-
Right-click the node and select Add Rates.

Infor Public Sector opens a dialog box where you
can specify the contractor you're defining rates for, the section of the
contract the rates apply to, and the rates that the contractor can charge.
Depending on the node you clicked in the tree, certain information about this
service rate will already be displayed in the dialog box. For example, if you
click a contractor's node, that contractor's contact ID is displayed in the
						ID field.

-
In the Rate fields, specify the rate that the contractor charges for the service.

The rate must fall within the minimum and maximum rate range defined for the line item.

-
To define how much service work can be performed and charged
for this line item, specify values in the fields under Schedule Limits.

In the Total
Cost and To fields, specify the minimum and maximum amounts that can be
charged for the line item. In the Quantity and To fields, specify the minimum and maximum amount of service
work required to receive the rate charged by the contractor, such as a number of
hours. Sometimes, specifying the minimum and maximum quantities of service work
is required because a particular rate may result in a discount if larger
quantities of service are rendered. If you don't specify values in these fields,
Infor Public Sector will assume that there are no
schedule limits for the service rate. If you're defining multiple rates for the
same contractor and contract line item, you can't have quantities of service
					overlap.

-
Specify any other information about the line item rate.

-
		  Click Save.

Infor Public Sector adds the line item rate to the service contract and shows it in the tree under the correct node. The node that the rate is displayed under depends on the rate's contractor and section, and whether you specified a sub-section or reference text for it.
