Calendar-based assignments

If the Calendar-based Assignments feature is enabled, you can schedule work orders, asset inspections, CDR reviews, and CDR inspections by adding them to employees' external calendars in an application such as Microsoft Outlook or Google Calendar.

For example, if calendar-based assignments are enabled, a Schedule the activity button is shown next to the Assigned to Employee field in the Review InfoViewer for CDR reviews. Use this button to access employees' calendars and schedule reviews. See the Asset Management, Work Management, and CDR user guides for more information.

To enable calendar-based assignments, select System > Administration > Feature Toggles and set the state of the Calendar-based Assignments feature to On. The Cronofy integration must also be enabled.
