Advancing to the next milestone

Normally a license advances through its milestones automatically, as the requirements for each milestone are met. However, there may be situations where a license that has met all the requirements for the current milestone doesn't advance. For example, license information might have been changed by a Batch Manager task that doesn't trigger the ProcessNextState method. In that case you can advance the license manually.

To advance an eligible license to the next milestone, click the Process Next Milestone link in the Quick Links panel on the Summary tab. If any of the requirements for the current milestone are not met, the license won't advance.

Note: You can also use the Process Next Milestone task in the Batch Manager to advance eligible licenses to the next milestone.
