Defining a room of a building

You can define the specific rooms that are in a building when you create the building record, or in the Building InfoViewer.

  1. If you're creating a new building, scroll down the page and click the Show button next to Room.
  2. If you're using the Building InfoViewer, select the Rooms tab.
  3. Click Add above the Rooms grid.
  4. Specify an identification code for the room in the Room ID field.
  5. In the Floor ID field, specify the identification code for the floor that the room is on.
  6. Specify any other information about the room, such as its dimensions and construction materials.
  7. Click Save.
