Changing the encryption key

  1. Open the Configuration Editor on the Infor Public Sector application server.
    The executable, ConfigurationEditor.exe, can be found in the bin directory of the Infor Public Sector application directory.
  2. Open the Hansen8 configuration.
  3. Right-click the AGENCY node and select Set Site Encryption Key.
  4. Either type a valid key in the Current Encryption Key field or click Generate a New Key to generate one automatically.
  5. Click OK.
    A dialog box is displayed asking you to confirm that you want to change the encryption key.
  6. Type yes and then click the Yes button.
