Assigning employees to activity areas

Activity areas can be used for automated scheduling. An activity area is a geographic zone to which employees may be assigned. By recording activity areas for addresses, parcels, and properties, you can use automated scheduling to determine which employee should be assigned to an activity at a site based on your employee activity area assignments.

  1. Open an employee record in the Employee InfoViewer.
  2. On the Associated Information tab, click Add above the Activity Area grid.
  3. Specify this information:
    Activity Area
    Specify the activity area to which the employee is assigned.
    Effective Date
    Specify the date the activity area is effective for the address.
  4. Click Approve.
