Recording an employee's organizational assignments

Organizational assignments can be used for automated scheduling. When defining a review or inspection type for a CDR application type, you can specify the department, section, and unit to which the activity should be assigned. Employees can then be selected to assign automatically based on their organizational assignments.

  1. Open an employee record in the Employee InfoViewer.
  2. On the Associated Information tab, click Add above the Organizational Assignment grid.
  3. Specify this information:
    Department
    Specify the department that the employee is assigned to.
    Section
    Specify the section that the employee is assigned to.
    Unit
    Specify the unit that the employee is assigned to.
    Effective Date
    Specify the effective date of the organizational assignment.
  4. Click Approve.
