"Roadway Type" |
Node for a roadway type in your agency's inventory, such as a state highway or county road. For more information, see Roadway Type in the Roadway Basic Concepts. This node shows the name of the roadway type and contains these six nodes: | , , , , , and .
Assets | Node for the types of assets that can be attached to the roadway type, such as other roadways, trees, and signal lights. When you click this node, a grid is displayed on the right listing the asset types that can be attached to roadways of this type. |
Attributes | Node for the types of attributes that can be attached to the roadway type. An attribute is a property of a roadway, such as speed limit or surface type. For more information, see Attribute in the Roadway Basic Concepts. When you click this node, a grid is displayed on the right listing the attributes that can be attached to roadways of this type. |
Elements | Node for the types of elements that can be attached to the roadway type. An element is a physical structure or area associated with a roadway that is not stored in your records as an asset, such as a guardrail or bus shelter. For more information, see Element in the Roadway Basic Concepts. When you click this node a grid is displayed on the right listing the elements that can be attached to roadways of this type. |
Lanes | Node for the types of lanes that can be attached to the roadway type, such as a left-turn lane or carpool lane. When you click this node, a grid is displayed on the right listing the types of lanes that can be attached to roadways of this type. |
Markings | Node for the types of markings that can be attached to the roadway type, such as a road legend or lane line. When you click this node, a grid is displayed on the right listing the types of markings that can be attached to roadways of this type. |
Right Of Way Positions | Node for the types of right of way positions that can be used for the roadway type. When you click this node, a grid is displayed on the right listing the right of way positions that can be used for roadways of this type. This node may contain one or more | nodes.
"Right Of Way Position" |
Node for the types of right of way positions that can be used for the roadway type. A right of way position indicates the location of a feature across the width of a roadway such as Right Shoulder or Median. When you click this node, a grid is displayed on the right listing any sub-positions defined for the selected right of way position. Sub-positions can be used to identify a location more precisely. For example, a position called RightSide might have two sub-positions called Gutter and Sidewalk. This node may contain one or more nodes for sub-positions of the current right of way position. |
Distance Marker | Node for the distance marker types that your agency uses. When you click this node, a grid is displayed on the right listing the main distance marker types that can be attached to a roadway. This node contains one or more | nodes.
"Distance Marker Type" |
Node for a distance marker type that your agency uses. A distance marker is a special attribute that you can use to correct a roadway marker whose posted value is no longer accurate. For more information, see Distance Marker in the Roadway Basic Concepts. When you click this node, a grid is displayed on the right listing any distance marker subtypes defined for the selected distance marker type. This node shows the name of the distance marker type. |
