Packages
As an alternative to transferring configuration data directly between instances, you
can use packages. A package is a ZIP file that contains configuration data in XML
format.
To create a package, select an Infor Public Sector site as the source for the transfer in the Definition Manager, and select A package as the destination. Packages are added to the DMT Packages folder in the File Explorer.
Note: Do not edit the contents of the ZIP file after a package is exported. If you attempt to
transfer configurations from a package that has been altered, the Definition Manager will
return an error.
To transfer configurations from a package, you can either select a package from the File Explorer or upload package from a local directory.
