Configuring an Infor Reporting report

Infor Reporting is Infor's implementation of Cognos Analytics.

To run Infor Reporting reports in Infor Public Sector, users must be assigned the correct security roles in Infor OS. These security roles are configured for Infor Reporting in Infor OS:

  • IPSIR-Consumer: Users must be assigned the IPSIR-Consumer security role in Infor OS to run Infor Reporting reports in Infor Public Sector.
  • IPSIR-ProfessionalAuthor: Users with the IPSIR-ProfessionalAuthor security role also have access to the Cognos Report Studio, which is used to create custom reports.
Note: A limit of 50,000 rows is enforced for Infor Reporting reports.
  1. Select System > Agency Personalization > Reports Manager.
  2. In the Reports tree, browse to the report that you are editing and click the report node.
  3. Specify this information:
    Display Text
    Specify the name that is displayed for this report when the Reports button is clicked.
    Report Type
    Select Infor Reporting.
    Report Output
    Select the output format that you want to use. You can select one of these options:
    • CSV
    • Excel2007
    • HTML
    • PDF
    • XML
    Ming.le Credentials
    This field is shown if you are configuring a general report. Select the credentials that will be used to run the report. The credentials that are available are configured in the Ming.le Credentials for General Reports grid in the global report settings.

    Use Report Root Path
    Indicates whether the report path uses the default root path specified in the Infor Reporting Root Report Path field in the global report settings.
    Report Path
    Specify the path to the report in Infor Reporting.
  4. Add parameters to the report as required.
  5. Click Save.
