Adding an observation to an asset inspection

Depending on the inspection type, you may be able to add observations to an asset inspection. An observation typically represents a type of defect noted during an inspection, such as a crack, root intrusion, or debris in a sewer main inspection.

  1. Open the inspection that you want to add an observation to in the mobile app.
  2. Select the Observations tab.
  3. Tap the Action button (three vertical dots) in the bottom right corner of the tab and select Add Observations.
  4. Select the correct observation code from the Observation Codes popup.
  5. Specify any other information about the observation, such as the measurement and whether the issue is resolved.
  6. Tap OK.
