Linking observations to work orders

If an asset inspection has one or more linked work orders, you can link specific observations on the inspection to those work orders. For example, you might link an observation of a defect to the work order that was added to fix the defect.

  1. Open an asset inspection in the mobile app.
  2. Select the Observations tab.
  3. Tap the Action button (three vertical dots) in the bottom right corner of the tab and select Link Observations to Work Order.
    A list of available observations is shown, with a check box to the left of each observation.
  4. Select the check box for each observation that you want to link.
  5. Tap Link.
    The Link Observations to Work Order dialog box lists the work orders that are linked to the current inspection.
  6. Select the work order to which you are linking the observations.
