Signing in

In a multi-tenant environment, the mobile app supports single sign on through Infor OS Portal. You will scan a QR code with your mobile device to download your credentials. You might receive the QR code in an email from an administrator, or you can find it inInfor OS Portal.

To find the QR code in Infor OS Portal, sign in from a desktop or laptop and select Apps and Authorizations from the User Menu. Click the IFI app to open it and show the QR code.

Then, on the mobile device, open the mobile app, select the Sign in using Infor OS Portal check box, and tap Settings. Then tap the Add button on the Choose a Server screen to display the Add Profile screen. Tap OK in the Add Profile dialog box and scan the QR code.

The server settings are then displayed in the fields on the Add Profile screen. You can tap the Test Connection button to verify your connection.

If you don't have a camera on your device, you can enter the server settings manually. If you received the QR code in an email, click the link in the email to go to Infor ION API, then click Download Credentials. The Download Credentials button is also shown when you navigate to the IFI app through Infor OS Portal.

The credentials are downloaded in an .ionapi file that you can open in Notepad.

In the mobile app, tap the Add button on the Choose a Server screen, then tap Cancel in the Add Profile dialog box. Enter a name for your profile, then enter your server settings in the fields provided and tap Save.

If you are logging in for the first time, select your user profile. Your profile determines the menu items that you will see and the access rights that you will have within the app. Based on your user profile and your agency's configuration, the app will download a set of data the first time you log in. This may take a few moments.

Whether you scan a QR code or enter your settings manually, your profile is saved by the mobile app. To edit an existing profile, tap Settings on the login screen, then tap the profile that you want to edit.
