Inspection viewer buttons

This table describes each button in the CDR inspection viewer in the mobile app:

Button Description
Return button Return

Closes the inspection and returns you to the location from which you opened it.
Print button Print Report

Used to print any reports that are associated with the current record. Depending on how your agency has configured its reporting application, you can print to an agency server, print through the cloud, print locally through a wireless connection such as Bluetooth, or email the report.
Start button Start

Starts the timer, which can be used to record the time taken to complete an inspection.
Stop button Stop

Stops the timer.
Save button Save

Saves any changes that you have made to the inspection record.
Record Result button Record Results

Used to record the results of a completed inspection.

Action button Action

Used to complete actions such as rescheduling or reassigning an inspection. Tap the Action button to show a list of options.

You can also use the Action button to set the location of the inspection to your current GPS position. Tap Action and select Set Location, then tap OK.
Get Directions button Get Directions

Shows directions from your current location to the location of the inspection.
Attach button Attachment

This button is shown on the Attachment tab. It can be used to add new attachments to the current inspection.
Add Code Violations button Add Code Violations

This button is shown on the Violations tab. It is used to add code violations to an inspection.
Update Code Violations button Update Code Violations

This button is shown on the Violations tab. It is used to update one or more selected code violations.
Add Code Violation button Add Code Violation

The Add Code Violation button is shown on the code violations screen. It is used to the selected code violations to an inspection.
Save button Save

Shown on the code violations screen for building and case inspections if your agency has enabled the improved code violation functionality. Used to save the selected code violations.
Save and Close button Save and Close

Shown on the code violations screen for building and case inspections if your agency has enabled the improved code violation functionality. Used to save the selected code violations and close the code violations screen.
