Using search forms
Some fields in the mobile app show search forms when you select them. For example, when creating a new service request, you can select the Address field to show the Address Search form. You can then look up the correct address for the service request.
These fields show a basic search form:
- Contact
- Parcel
- Property
- Service Request
To search for records, enter your criteria in the fields at the top of the page and tap
. The grid then shows a list of records that match your search criteria.From the Contact Search form, you can also use the button to create a new contact.
These fields show a GIS search form:
- Address
- AssetNote: Depending on your profile, you can also open the asset search form by tapping the query under the grouping in the menu.
You can use the GIS search to look up addresses or assets within the current map extent. From the Address Search form, you can look up addresses within the current extent by street number, street name, suffix, city, state, and ZIP code.
From the Asset Search form, you can look up assets by asset type, unit ID, and unit description. You can also tap the button and select Advanced Search to see additional search fields.
Tapping an asset in the map opens a popup window that you can use to view the asset record or to create a work order, case, inspection, or service request for the asset.
