Home screen buttons
This table describes the buttons that can appear at the top of the home screen in the mobile app. The buttons that you see will vary depending on the context.

Menu Shows the menu. |

Search Used to look up specific records. See Looking up records. |

Refresh Refreshes the current query results with the latest information from the database. |
|
Favorites Filters the current query to show only the items that are marked as favorites. |
|
Filter If the currently displayed query has filters defined for it, you can use the button to apply them. Tap to show a list of available filters, then select the filter that you want to apply.For example, most inspection queries have filters that show only scheduled inspections or only unscheduled inspections. |

View Used to switch between the card view, grid view, and map view. Tap and select the view that you want to show. |

Work Mode Indicates whether the app is currently working online. If a connection is unavailable, the check mark in the button image is replaced by a circle. Tap this button to disable the connection to your agency's Rest Services. If the connection is disabled, the check mark is replaced by an X. Tap the button again to enable the connection if it is disabled. See Working offline. |

Action For some profiles, the button is displayed on the home screen. It can be used to complete actions such as creating a service request or a work order. |

Show Location The button is displayed in the map view. It shows your current location on the map, based on the GPS coordinates of the mobile device. |

Map Options Used to select the basemap and layers that you want to show on the map. |
|
Proximity Search Used to search for assets within the current map view. See Map functions. Note: The button is only shown if it has
been configured for your agency.

Select All Used to select all records when you are in bulk edit mode. |
|
Deselect All Used to deselect all records when you are in bulk edit mode. |
