Automapping

You can automatically map fields that have the same names in both databases. After you select an Infor Public Sector component and a GIS layer, click the Automap button between the IPS Fields tree and the GIS Fields tree. Infor Public Sector searches for GIS fields whose names match either the name or the common ID of Infor Public Sector fields. The results are displayed in the Auto Map Sync Fields dialog box.

To automap fields, select the check box for each field that you want to map and click Save. The sync direction for the mappings is IPS << >> GIS, unless one of the fields is read-only.
