Note: The calendar-based scheduling functionality is available only if the
Calendar-based Assignments feature is enabled for your environment.
Open an inspection in the Inspection InfoViewer.
Select the Inspection tab and click
Edit.
Optionally, specify an employee ID in the Assigned to Employee field.
Click the Schedule the activity
button next to the Assigned to
Employee field.
The Resource Calendar popup opens. If you specified an
employee ID before clicking Schedule the
activity, the popup shows that employee's calendar. If you did
not specify an employee ID, you can look up employees.
To look up employees, enter your criteria in the search fields above the
calendar and click Search.
To schedule an assignment, select the time slot in the weekly calendar
view.
You can drag and drop to reschedule assignments, or click and drag either end
of the time slot to change the duration of an assignment.
Note: You can also see a monthly view of an employee's
calendar on the Month tab, but the
information on this tab is display-only. Use the Week tab to schedule
assignments.
Click Select.
The assignment is added to the employee's calendar and the Scheduled Date and Estimated Completion Date fields in the
InfoViewer are updated based on your selection.
