Performing a supervisor override

Depending on the application type, a supervisor can advance an application to the next milestone even if it hasn't passed all of the status checks for the current milestone. Supervisor overrides must first be enabled for the application type in Application Workflow.

If you've been granted the Supervisor Override permission for the application type in Access Control, you can advance an application without entering any authorization. Otherwise you must enter your user name and password, or employee ID and PIN, depending on your system configuration.

  1. Load the application you want in the Application InfoViewer.
  2. Click Action and select Supervisor Override.
  3. If prompted, enter the necessary authorization.
    You must enter your authorization if you haven't been granted the Supervisor Override for the application type. Depending on the system configuration, you must enter your user name and password or your employee ID and PIN.

  4. Click Save.
    Infor Public Sector advances the application to the next milestone, disregarding any unmet status checks for the current one.
