Defining a review type

You can define a review type under the Activities and Fees node or under a milestone node. When you define a review type under Activities and Fees, you can associate it with the milestone at which Infor Public Sector adds the review. When you define a review type under a milestone node, it is automatically associated with that milestone.

  1. Select License > Setup > License Workflow.
  2. In the License Types tree, browse to the review types for the correct license type or milestone
  3. Click the Reviews node.
  4. Click Add above the grid.
  5. Specify this information:
    Review Type
    Specify a name for the review type. The name must be unique within the license type but can be reused in other license types.
    Description
    Enter a description of the review type.
    Add On
    Optionally, if you are adding the review type under Activities and Fees, specify the milestone at which reviews of this type are added to licenses. If you leave this field blank, the review type will not be added automatically but can be added manually.
    Effective Date
    Specify the date the review type is effective.
  6. If your agency uses Infor Rhythm for Civics, specify this information to make the review type available in the portal:
    Show in Portal
    Select this check box if you want reviews of this type to be shown in Rhythm for Civics.
    Is Public
    Select this check box to show reviews of this type to members of the public.
    Portal Description
    Optionally, specify an alternative description of the review type to be displayed in the portal.

  7. Optionally, specify this information to configure automated scheduling for the review type:
    Priority
    Specify the priority of the review type.
    Estimated Hours
    Specify the estimated number of hours needed to complete a review of this type.
    Estimated Minutes
    Specify the estimated number of minutes needed to complete a review of this type.
    Assign to Department
    Specify the department to which reviews of this type will be assigned.
    Assign to Section
    Specify the section to which reviews of this type will be assigned.
    Assign to Unit
    Specify the unit to which reviews of this type will be assigned.
  8. Optionally, specify this additional information:
    Add On Condition Formula
    Specify a formula that calculates whether the review type is added.

    Due Within
    Specify the number of days within which reviews must be completed.
    Working Days
    Select the check box if you only want to count working days when calculating the due date for a review.

    Infor Public Sector will count the number of working days specified in the Due WIthin field, skipping weekends and holidays. If you do not select this check box, Infor Public Sector counts all days.

    DynamicPortal Description
    If your agency uses Dynamic Portal, you can enter a description of the review type that is displayed to customers in Dynamic Portal.
    Assignment Group Formula
    See Calculating which review assignment group to use.
    Plan Copy
    Specify the number of plan copies that are needed for this review type.
  9. Click Approve.
  10. When you're finished defining review types, click Close and set up access control for each type.
