Advancing to the next milestone
Normally a case advances through its milestones automatically, as the requirements
for each milestone are met. However, there may be situations where a case that has met all the
requirements for the current milestone doesn't advance. For example, case information might
have been changed by a Batch Manager task that doesn't trigger the
ProcessNextState
method. In that case you can advance the case
manually.
To advance an eligible case to the next milestone, click the Process Next Milestone link in the Quick Links panel on the Summary tab. If any of the requirements for the current milestone are not met, the case won't advance.
Note: You can also use the Process Next Milestone task in the Batch Manager to advance eligible
cases to the next milestone.
