Adding common sources

The Most Common Sources grid in the Create Detail dialog box shows a list of common business object properties that you can select to use for your detail.

If you want to use a property that is not in the list for your detail, you can use the Configuration Editor to add the property to the Most Common Sources grid. For example, you might want to add properties of agency-defined business objects.

The properties in the Most Common Sources grid are defined in the RateTable configuration. Because each module that uses rate tables works with a different set of properties, the configuration includes a separate node for each module under the RateTable node.

Note: Only properties of certain business objects are supported for rate table details.

For example, the screenshot below shows the default properties that are available for Building Permits rate tables. The settings for the Occupancy Type property are shown in the Attributes fields to the right.

To add your own property, right-click the node for the correct module and select Insert Child Node. For the Moniker attribute, specify the moniker of the business object that contains the property that you want to use.

The business objects that are supported for rate table details depend on the parent node that you selected. For example, each source under the BUILDINGPERMITS node must specify a property of the Hansen.CDR.Building.BuildingApplication object.

Sources under the SERVICEBASED node can use properties of the Hansen.Billing.Account or Hansen.Billing.AccountService object.

After you specify moniker, specify the property that you want to ue in the Node Source attribute. The Display Name attribute specifies the name that is displayed in the Most Common Sources grid.
