Group Inspection Schedule
The Group Inspection Schedule task creates asset inspections based on group
inspection schedules.
Setup
This table describes the Infor Public Sector setup forms that are used to configure this task:

| Create Asset Group | Used to create asset groups. |
| Create Group Inspection Schedule | Used to create group inspection schedules. There is a separate Create Group Inspection Schedule form for each asset type. |
| Inspection Types | Used to define inspection types. There is a separate Inspection Types form for each asset type. |
Invocation
The Group Inspection Schedule task can be scheduled or invoked manually from the Batch Manager form, and it can be invoked through the console.
Note: You can also use the
Lookup Group Inspection Schedules form to
generate group inspections, but this process does not use the Batch Manager.
This table describes each parameter for this task:

| Asset Group | Asset group for which you are generating inspections. |
| Asset Type | Asset type for which you are generating inspections. |
| Inspection Type | Type of inspection that you are generating. |
| Assigned To | ID of the employee to whom the inspections will be assigned. |
| Responsibility | Responsibility code for the inspections. |
| Days in Advance | Number of days before the scheduled date that you want to generate inspections. |
Note: When entering parameters for this task in the Batch
Manager form, you can click the View Matching Schedules link to view any
existing group inspection schedules that match the parameters that you have
entered.
Data output
Group inspections for all asset types are stored in the GROUPINSP table. You can use the Lookup Group Inspections link on each asset menu page to search for group inspections and open them in the Group Inspection InfoViewer.
