Batch Manager task status codes
Infor Public Sector shows each task's current status in the Status column of the grid. This table describes each status code in the Batch Manager:
Status | Description |
---|---|
Idle | The task is currently idle. This is the default status for all tasks in the Batch Manager. Infor Public Sector assigns a status of Idle to each new task, and returns the status to Idle after a task finishes running. |
Queued | The task has been queued, and will run as soon as the Batch Manager service has a thread available. |
Running | The task is currently running. |
Halting | The task is currently halting. |
Time Expired | Infor Public Sector is attempting to halt the task after reaching the number of minutes specified in the Timeout field. This code is displayed until the task has halted, and then the status returns to Idle. |
Awaiting Pickup | The task is about to be placed in the message bus. |
Note: If an exception occurs
when the Batch Manager runs a task, Infor Public Sector may
show a status of Running or Queued for a task that isn't actually running. If
this happens you can click and select Reset To
Idle to reset the task's status.
