Renaming asset types
The display names for the standard asset types in Infor Public Sector can be changed to suit your agency's needs.
To rename an asset type, open the AssetManagement configuration and browse to the correct asset type node under the node. Use the Full Display Name attribute to specify the name that you want to use for the asset type.
Then set the Auto Replace Display Name attribute to True. This ensures that the name that you specify for the asset type will be used throughout the Infor Public Sector user interface.
Note: The display name that you specify for an asset type is shown in the
user interface only. The name of the asset type is not changed in the database. Because the
name is not changed in the database, there are some instances where the agency-defined asset
name is not shown in the UI for technical reasons.
