Feature toggles

Feature toggles are used to temporarily control access to new features during a trial period. The introduction of a new feature with a toggle follows this sequence:

• Early adopter trial period: For some features, there is an early adopter period. The feature is available but an access key is required to turn on the feature toggle.

  You can request early adopter access keys from Product Management.

• Trial period: The feature is available for all sites to toggle on or off.

  A feature can be turned on or off for the entire site, or you can require user opt-in. Individual users can choose whether to enable or disable user opt-in features in My Infor.

• Release: The feature is standard, and the feature toggle is no longer shown.

Some features can be turned on and off, but others cannot be turned off after they are enabled.
