User licensing

The licenses that you purchase enable your users to access different modules and functionality in Infor Public Sector.

Each user license lets an employee use a specific module, such as Customer Service or Building Permits. For example, agency employees who work with service requests in Infor Public Sector must be assigned the Customer Service license. The specific features that a user can access also depend on the permissions that are assigned in Access Control.

You can assign licenses to users in these ways:

Licenses can be associated with roles in Access Control. If so, users are automatically assigned the licenses that are associated with the roles that they are assigned to.

You can also use either the User License form or the User InfoViewer to unassign user licenses.

In the User License form, select a license and remove the unassigned users from the grid.
In the User InfoViewer, delete licenses from the License Information grid to unassign them.
