Granting a user license

This topic describes the process of assigning licenses in the User License form. You can also use the User InfoViewer to assign licenses.

  1. Select System > Licensing > User License.
  2. In the pane on the left, click the license that you want to grant to a user.
    A grid is displayed on the right listing the users that have already been granted the license.
  3. Click Add above the grid.
  4. Specify search criteria at the top of the dialog box to locate the correct user record.
  5. Click Search.
    Infor Public Sector shows a list of users that match your search criteria.
  6. Select the users that you want to grant the license to.
    You can grant licenses to multiple users simultaneously by selecting multiple users in the grid.
  7. Click Select.
    If there are enough licenses available, the user is granted the license and information on the user is displayed in the "User Name" grid. Infor Public Sector recalculates the number of used and available licenses for the selected module and shows the results above the grid.

    If there aren't enough licenses available, Infor Public Sector shows a message and doesn't assign a license to the user.
