Defining task labor requirements

When defining labor usage requirements for a task, you can also specify which skills or qualifications are required.

Note: The labor requirements for a task are informational only. For example, the system will not prevent an employee who does not hold a specified qualification from being assigned to a task.
  1. Select the Labor tab in the Activity Task dialog box.
  2. Click Add above the grid.
  3. Specify this information:
    Job Classification
    Specify the job classification for employees who may be assigned to this task.
    Quantity
    Specify the number of employees that are required.
    Standard
    Specify the standard number of hours it takes for an employee to complete the task.
    Qualification
    Specify the qualification that employees must hold to be assigned to this task.
    Responsibility
    Specify the responsibility code for employees who may be assigned to this task.
  4. Click Approve.
