Status checks

Infor Public Sector uses status checks to establish criteria that will halt the progress of a work order.

Status checks are associated with milestones and apply to usage costs, schedule information, and other supporting information.

Status checks determine whether a work order can advance to the next milestone based on the information recorded for the work order, such as usage costs and scheduling information. For example, you can define a status check that checks whether the work order has been scheduled. If no scheduled date has been recorded, Infor Public Sector won't advance the work order to the next milestone until it has been scheduled.

You use the Status Checks node in the Activities tree to define status checks for each milestone an activity uses. You define the criteria that the status check looks for by creating formulas. The status check will have a result of either True or False. If a status check returns True, Infor Public Sector won't advance the work order to the next milestone. If a status check returns False, Infor Public Sector will advance the work order.
