Mobile enhancements

This update includes these enhancements for Infor Public Sector Mobile.
  • For building and case inspections, the process of recording code violations has been improved, including the ability to specify the unit or room where a violation is found.
Note: This feature is not supported in the iOS version of the app.

To use the new code violation view, you must first enable it using the UseImprovedCodeViolations attribute on the new CDR node under Settings in the Mobile configuration.

If the improved code violation feature is enabled, the app first shows the Enter Unit Number popup when you tap the Add button on the Violations tab of the inspection viewer.

    Enter Unit Number

You can optionally specify a unit number, or you can tap OK to proceed to the next step, where you select the violation group. Based on the selected violation group, you can then record the code violation.

  • You can now attach video files to records in the mobile app. Select Capture Video to use the camera, or select Select Video to select an existing video from the gallery.

You can also attach non-media files from the device's file manager.

  • There is a new map command called Use This Asset that you can use to add a selected asset to a record such as a service request or work order in the mobile app. For example, you can use the map to select an asset when creating a work order.

  • Detail pages for asset inspection observations are now shown in the mobile app.
  • For better readability, grid rows in the mobile app are shown using alternating colors.
