Ignoring messages

When you ignore a message, you're indicating that you no longer want to see its logs in the lookup results. For example, you might want to ignore an inbound message that has successfully completed processing, or a failed inbound message that you don't want to reprocess.

Infor Public Sector will mark the message as ignored by filling in the IGNOREDBY and IGNOREDDATE columns in the INBOXENTRYLOG or OUTBOXENTRYLOG table. You can view ignored messages by selecting the Show Ignored check box when looking up messages.

  1. Select System > Lookup Messaging Logs.
  2. Look up inbound or outbound logs.
  3. Select each message that you want to ignore in the search results.
  4. Click Action and select Ignore Selected Message(s).
