Setting default meter export options

  1. Select Asset Management > Assets > Water.
  2. On the Meter tab, under Meter Management, click Meter Reading Export Setup.
  3. Specify this information:
Business days prior to next reading date
Specify the number of days before a route's next scheduled reading that the data file should be exported.
    Export Directory Path
Specify the path to the directory on the server where Infor Public Sector will save the data file.
    Export File Template
Select the template that you want to use.

The template is an XML file that defines the format of the output file and the data to be included based on a list of keywords defined in the Keyword Manager. The list of available templates is defined in the MeterManagement configuration in the Configuration Editor.

    Sender Code
Specify a code that will identify the sender in the data file. The sender is the agency exporting the meter information.
    Receiver Code
Specify a code that will identify the receiver in the data file. The receiver is the agency or contractor the data file will be sent to.
    Allow Outstanding Routes
Select this check box if you want to include outstanding routes in the export. Outstanding routes are routes that have already been scheduled for export but not yet exported, or that have been exported but not yet re-imported.
Concatenate Routes into a single file
Select this check box if you want to include all exported routes in a single data file. Otherwise Infor Public Sector will create a separate file for each route.
    Archive Options
Indicate whether you want to delete the previous data file when completing an export, or move the file to an archive.
    Exception Meters
Specify the criteria that Infor Public Sector will use to determine which meters to exclude from an export.

Select the Exclude exception meters check box if you want to leave exception meters out of the export file. Otherwise Infor Public Sector will include each exception meter, and indicate the reason for the exception.

The rest of the options under Exception Meters indicate which meters will be treated as exceptions.

  4. Click Save.
