Defining a code violation

When you define a code violation for a violation group, Infor Public Sector makes that code violation available to every inspection and review type that you associate with the violation group.

  1. Select [CDR module] > Setup > Code Violation Setup.
  2. In the Code Violation Groups tree, browse to the Code Violations node under the violation group that you want to add the code violation to.
  3. Click the Code Violations node.
  4. Click Add above the grid.
  5. Type a name for the new code violation in the Code field.
  6. In the Book Year field, type the publishing year for the code book that contains the violated use code or ordinance.
  7. In the Use Code Section field, type the section of the code book that contains the violated use code or ordinance.
  8. Provide any other information about the code violation.
You can use the Description field to provide an explanation of this code violation. Use the Code Text column to record the complete text of the code this violation applies to.
  9. Click Save.
Infor Public Sector adds the code violation to the violation group and shows it in the grid.
