Defining a periodic inspection schedule

Periodic inspection schedules generate the periodic inspections your agency conducts, such as biannual health inspections. A schedule typically includes information about the inspection type Infor Public Sector will create and the interval at which Infor Public Sector will create inspections of that type. You can define a schedule under the Activities and Fees node or under a milestone node. When you define a schedule under Activities and Fees, you must associate it with the milestone at which Infor Public Sector adds the schedule. When you define a schedule under a milestone node, Infor Public Sector automatically associates the schedule with that milestone. Under both nodes, you can associate the schedule with a formula that Infor Public Sector will use to calculate whether to add the schedule to a use license at the indicated milestone.

  1. Select License > Setup > License Workflow.
  2. In the License Types tree, browse to the periodic inspection schedules for the correct license type or milestone.
  3. Click the Periodic Inspection Schedules node.
  4. Click Add above the grid.
  5. Specify the inspection type for this schedule in the Inspection Type field.
  6. In the Add On field, specify the milestone at which you want Infor Public Sector to add this inspection schedule.
Infor Public Sector does not begin generating periodic inspections until a license reaches the indicated milestone. If you do not associate a milestone with the schedule, Infor Public Sector will never schedule periodic inspections for the license.
  7. Under Recurrence, define the interval at which Infor Public Sector will generate inspections.
  8. Specify any other information about the schedule.
You can use the Add On Condition field to specify a formula that calculates whether the schedule is added at the milestone indicated in the Add On field. You can use the Assigned To field to indicate the inspector Infor Public Sector will assign to inspections generated from the schedule. If you do not specify an inspector in the Assigned To field, you can select the Auto Assign check box to direct Infor Public Sector to automatically assign inspectors according to your agency's assignment groups and inspection assignments as defined in Inspection Assignment Group and in Inspection Assignment. You can also use the Hold check box to exclude this schedule when the system automatically generates inspections.
  9. Click Save.
