Changing an escrow account's status

The status of an account indicates what transactions can be performed with the account. Active and inactive accounts allow deposits, withdrawals, and adjustments, whereas only active accounts allow fund transfers and fee payments. No account transactions can be performed with a closed account.

  1. Load the escrow account you want into the Escrow InfoViewer.
    You access the Escrow InfoViewer by clicking the Account # link for the account on any form that shows the link.
  2. On the Maintenance tab, under Escrow Account, click Change Account Status.
  3. Select a new status from the Account Status list.
  4. Click Save.
